Symptoms
As a first symptom margins of mature leaves turn brown and dry. The browning progresses inwardly between the veins.

Causes
Potassium Deficiency. Potassium deficient leaves contain less than 0.5% K. Magnesium deficiency and salt burn can produce similar symptoms.
